Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Forever Shopping (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information through forevashopping.com (the “Site”). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, to the extent they apply to us. By using the Site or placing an order, you consent to the handling of your information as described here.
1. What we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, email, phone number (if provided), and billing and delivery addresses.
- Order details: products purchased, order value, order history, delivery and tracking information, and correspondence about returns, refunds or claims.
- Payment information: payments are processed by third-party providers (such as WooPayments/Stripe and PayPal). We receive limited details such as payment status and the last four digits of a card; we do not store full card numbers.
- Account information: login details and preferences, if you create an account.
- Communications: messages you send through our contact form, email, reviews or social media, including photos you send for claims.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and cookie data.
- Fraud-prevention data: information used to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and chargebacks, such as IP and device signals and order patterns.
We collect most information directly from you. We may also receive information from payment providers, carriers, fraud-screening tools and analytics providers.
2. Why we use it
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and to send order and shipping updates.
- To handle returns, refunds, warranty and Australian Consumer Law claims.
- To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, misuse, abuse of promotions and unfounded chargebacks, and to protect our legal rights (including responding to payment disputes).
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To send marketing emails, only where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed for the purposes above, including with:
- Product suppliers and fulfilment partners who pack and ship your order (your name, delivery address, phone number and order contents).
- Couriers and postal services, including Australia Post and international carriers.
- Payment providers such as WooPayments/Stripe and PayPal.
- Service providers that host and run our store — for example our web host (Hostinger), WooCommerce and its plugins, email delivery, analytics and fraud-screening tools.
- Professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers), and authorities where required or authorised by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud or respond to a payment dispute.
- A buyer or successor if our business or its assets are sold or transferred.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Overseas disclosure
Many of our products are shipped by suppliers located outside Australia, mainly in China. To fulfil your order, your name, delivery address, phone number and order details are disclosed to those suppliers and their carriers. Some of our service providers (such as payment, hosting, email and analytics providers) may store or process data in other countries, including the United States, the European Union, Singapore and Lithuania. By placing an order, you consent to this overseas disclosure, and you acknowledge that overseas recipients may not be subject to privacy laws equivalent to the Australian Privacy Principles. We take reasonable steps to share only what is needed.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and login working, remember preferences, measure traffic and improve the Site, and help prevent fraud. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site (including checkout) may not work properly.
6. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted (SSL/TLS) checkout and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to us over the internet.
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations — generally at least 5 years for tax and accounting records — and then delete or de-identify them.
If we become aware of a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will act in line with applicable law, including the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme where it applies.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@forevashopping.com. We will respond within a reasonable time (usually 30 days). We may need to verify your identity, and we may refuse access where the law allows (for example, where it would prejudice a fraud investigation or legal dispute) and will tell you why.
If you have a privacy complaint, email us with the details and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
8. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by publishing a new version on this page. The “Last updated” date shows when it was last changed.
